Trailer: LOOKS THAT KILL! THIS IS THE TAGLINE! WOAH!
Kathryn: What What is this is this trailer doing telling me that this woman is hot like it's a plot point or something. I mean I think that that's pretty standard in hollywood, an objectively attractive woman.
Dad: Oh, Kathryn. Kathryn, Kathryn, Kathryn. You aren't going to find an ugly woman in a Hollywood film, don't be silly.
Kathryn: That's not what I'm saying. I mean, yeah, in perfect feminist world we would have a whole range of women in Hollywood movies, but that's not the point I'm making right now. I mean, firstly, I think that I can figure it out myself, that I can look at her myself and think Well Oh Jeez That Woman Sure Is Attractive. And secondly, they're saying it like it's a surprise, like movies aren't already populated with objectively attractive women, and like we haven't ever seen an objectively attractive woman go do something kickass in a mainstream movie the whole history of the business. Shouldn't that tagline have been dead twenty years ago?
Dad: Oh Kathryn, Kathryn Kathryn Kathryn. You are so naive it's funny. They aren't going to hire an ugly woman for a leading part, it's just not profitable.
